Congratulations to the Pursuit of Excellence 11 class (pictured below) for their participation in the annual PEP Speech Competition at Claremont.  Each student prepared and presented 5-minute speeches on topics ranging from whether or not there should be a universal language to the impact of social media.  Winners pictured above are: First place - Melody Wise (centre), Second place - Sydney Mill (left), and Third place - Luca Hoffecker (right).  This is a great experience for all involved.  Way to go Spartans!

    Flannel Friday

Students expressed their Spartan Spirit today by wearing plaid for Flannel Friday, orgranized by the Student Government.  It's fun theme days like this that remind us we are a part of a whole school body community!

Students in Ms. Stover's Spanish 11 and Ms. Giordano's Linear Intermediate Dance class joined together for a Salsa lesson yesterday. It was a fun way for the students to learn about Salsa dance and some Spanish culture.  What great collaboration!
