LUNCH MEETING TODAY

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Pursuit of Excellence – Grades 11 & 12
A reminder for all PEP 11 & 12 students that your first class is this THURSDAY at 8:00 in room 323 (Ms. Tong's room).  

Europe in Spring 2017
All students going to Europe in April for the 100th Anniversary of  Vimy Ridge: meet on FRIDAY at lunch  in room 327.  If you are interested in this trip, there are 3 spots left. Come to the meeting and see Mr Gardner.

School Photos
Photo Day is this THURSDAY morning.  If you didn't get a photo order form in your home room, they are available in the office.  Every student needs a photo taken for school identification purposes.  This includes all grade 12's too, even if you are having grad photos taken later.  After Picture Day, you will receive credentials to view your photos online at MyLifetouch.ca.

CLUB OPPORTUNITIES
Best Buddies
Regular Best Buddies meetings will start this THURSDAY at lunch in room 312.  If you're interested in befriending students with developmental disabilities, please join us.  See Mrs. Stetson upstairs in room T-337 with questions.

Queer-Straight Alliance – Open House
Claremont's Queer-Straight Alliance starts up tomorrow (THURSDAY) at lunch in room 320.  Bring your lunch and come hear what we have planned for this year! Everyone is welcome!

Key Club
Are you interested in volunteering?  Then come join Key Club!  We are an international student-led organization which provides opportunities for community service and developing leadership. The first meeting will be on THURSDAY at lunch in room 135.  We volunteer in the community at events such as GoodLife Marathon and support Jeneece Place.  We also do the weekly bottle recycling in the school.  Come to our first meeting of the year and find  out more about us.  There will be free snacks!

Any students interested in playing tennis this year?  There will be a meeting TODAY at lunch in room 327 with Mr Gardner.

CAREER CENTRE
Work Experience Credit

Work Experience registration deadline is September 30th!  Any student wishing to get work experience credits for this year, please see Mr. Arsenault in room #131 (the temporary Career Centre) BEFORE Sept. 30th.
