Dairy Production Technician is an apprenticeable trade and DairyPro BC is hosting an Information and Dairy Farm Safety Day Thursday, May 25, 2017 , from 10:00 am- 1:00 pm.
All Grade 11 students wanting to find out more about DPT1, those who are already employed on a dairy farm, and their parents, are invited to a Dairy Safety Short Course, barbeque,
and DPT1 information session at the UBC Dairy Education and Research Centre in
Schedule for the day will be:
- 10:00 – 10:45: Dairy Farm Safety, Emily Kerr, AgSafe BC
- 10:45 – 11:30: Overview of DPT 1 Program and Registration, John Dick, DPT1 instructor
- 11:30 – 12:15: Tour of UBC Dairy Education and Research Centre
- 12:15 – 1:00: Barbecue lunch
