Big congratulations to all the Claremont Track & Field athletes that competed in the BC High School Championships. Our team won three Provincial titles and had a host of excellent performances. The Junior Boys 4x400 meter relay team of Michael Awor, Blake Furtado, Michael Huang, and Conor Loughnane smashed their personal best on route to victory. Special mention to Rebecca Dutchak who, with some amazing jumping, won the Provincial title in both the Junior Girls triple jump and long jump.

Last week, CSI Rowers competed in St Catherine's at the Canadian Secondary Schools Regatta. In all, Claremont had 8 of their 14 entries in finals, and finished with 2/6th, 2/5th, 1/4th, 1/Silver and 2/Gold!  It was a great week to be a Spartan.
