GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Lost

Mrs. Taylor's black Under Armour women's lacrosse stick is lost. It has black hockey tape on the handle and ‘Taylor’ written on it.  It was last seen in the hall by the P.E. office at the end of block 4 last Friday. If you picked it up by mistake, please return it as soon as possible. Thank you.

Pizza Lunch – Supporting our Tennis Team
Proceeds from tomorrow’s Pizza lunch go towards the Tennis Team representing Claremont at Provincials next week in Vancouver. Thanks for your support!

Studio 63 Visit
Save the date and plan for a FREE hair-cut or style from Studio 63 Hairdressing students, who will be visiting Claremont on TUESDAY, May 22nd at lunch in the Student Lounge! Try out an up-do or braiding before Grad, or just come for the fun!

Year-Long Drama – “The Dining Room”
The Year-Long Drama production of  “The Dining Room” is running from May 16-19 and 23-26 nightly at 7:30pm in the Ridge Playhouse.  This play features 58 characters and 17 scenes, all taking place in one dining room. Some scenes are funny, some poignant. It is a study on the various purposes that dining rooms have had in our lives, but seem to be having less of, as society seems to get busier and busier.  Tickets are $7.50 at the door. The play is approximately 2 hours long, and includes an intermission.  For more info: cplant@sd63.bc.ca

‘Get Caught Reading’ Month
May is ‘Get Caught Reading’ Month at the Learning Commons. Tweet your reading selfies to @SD63ClaremontLC for chance to win free pizza as part of the May Days celebration. There will be themed books and displays all month so please drop by and enjoy!

May is Relationships Month
Staff, keep your eyes peeled this month for students who are building and maintaining healthy relationships in the Claremont community, and nominate them for our Relationships Lunch. Students, have a look at the "3 Rs" posters to get an idea of what staff will be looking for.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Hat Day – May 25

On FRIDAY May 25, students and staff can wear a hat!! Those that are wearing one can get a lollipop outside the student lounge in the courtyard at lunch time, where we will put on some music and hopefully enjoy some sunshine.  Dig out your beanies, berets, ball caps, fedoras, and cowboys hats!!

New - Free Tibet Club

There is a Free Tibet Club starting up next TUESDAY May 22nd at lunch in room 302!  Come join other student activists who want to raise awareness and help stop the abuse of human rights in Tibet.

Grad Council Meeting

There will be an important meeting for Grad Council this WEDNESDAY May 23 at lunch room 303.

Dry Grad 50/50 Winners
Congratulations to Vicki Cook, who was the Grand Prize winner for the Dry Grad 50/50 Draw.  She won $3105!!  Nice jackpot!! 
Also, congratulations to Taryn Caseley & Sierra Reisig, who won the incentive prizes for 50/50 ticket sales for students!

Dry Grad Planning 2018
The Dry Grad Planning Committee invites all parent/guardians of the 2018 Grad class to follow the Claremont Dry Grad Facebook page to keep informed on the planning of the All Night Dry Grad at UVic, Thursday June 28th.

Peninsula Youth Clinic

The Peninsula Youth Clinic is located at Peninsula Medical, 2a-2379 Bevan Avenue, Sidney and is open every THURSDAY from 5:30 - 7:30pm with both a doctor and mental health clinician on hand.

Youth Clinic
The main Victoria Youth Clinic is open to all youth and is located at  818 Douglas Street on the 3rd floor. It is open Monday to Thursday 11-5 and Friday 11-4.
