Studio 63 Visit
Save the date and plan for a FREE hair-cut or style from Studio 63 Hairdressing students, who will be visiting Claremont on TUESDAY, May 22nd at lunch in the Student Lounge! Try out an up-do or braiding before Grad, or just come for the fun!
Year-Long Drama – “The Dining Room”
The Year-Long Drama production of “The Dining Room” is running from May 16-19 and 23-26 nightly at 7:30pm in the Ridge Playhouse. This play features 58 characters and 17 scenes, all taking place in one dining room. Some scenes are funny, some poignant. It is a study on the various purposes that dining rooms have had in our lives, but seem to be having less of, as society seems to get busier and busier. Tickets are $7.50 at the door. The play is approximately 2 hours long, and includes an intermission. For more info: cplant@sd63.bc.ca

May is ‘Get Caught Reading’ Month at the Learning Commons. Tweet your reading selfies to @SD63ClaremontLC for chance to win free pizza as part of the May Days celebration. There will be themed books and displays all month so please drop by and enjoy!
May is Relationships Month
Staff, keep your eyes peeled this month for students who are building and maintaining healthy relationships in the Claremont community, and nominate them for our Relationships Lunch. Students, have a look at the "3 Rs" posters to get an idea of what staff will be looking for.

New - Free Tibet Club
There is a Free Tibet Club starting up next TUESDAY May 22nd at lunch in room 302! Come join other student activists who want to raise awareness and help stop the abuse of human rights in Tibet.
ATHLETICS
Rugby
Congrats to the Sr Boys Rugby team who defeated Belmont yesterday to win their City playoff game. Next week they play for the AAA Island Championship. Go Spartans!
Track & Field
Congratulations to all the athletes who participated in this week's Island Championships in Port Alberni for Track & Field. There were many victories had for Claremont athletes including:
1st for Rebecca in long jump and triple jump,
2nd for Senior Girls 4x100 relay,
3rd for Senior Boys 4x400 relay,
2nd for Cleo in 3000m,
2nd for Quinn in high jump,
3rd for Thea in long jump,
and many more!
We have 15 Spartans going to Langley at the end of the month for the BC Championships!

Peninsula Youth Clinic
The Peninsula Youth Clinic is located at Peninsula Medical, 2a-2379 Bevan Avenue, Sidney and is open every THURSDAY from 5:30 - 7:30pm with both a doctor and mental health clinician on hand.
Youth Clinic
The main Victoria Youth Clinic is open to all youth and is located at 818 Douglas Street on the 3rd floor. It is open Monday to Thursday 11-5 and Friday 11-4.
