GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Timetable Pickup

The first draft of ALL student timetables for next year are ready for pick-up at the front entrance of the school (tables are set up outside). It is important for students to preview their timetable to ensure the right courses have been scheduled. If changes need to be made, the student should write the requested changes on the reverse side of their timetable and leave it at the front office. After today, they will all be available for pickup in the office.

GRADE 9 (Students who are NOT coming from Royal Oak Middle School), GRADE 10, GRADE 11, and GRADE 12.

Report Cards

Grades 9-11: Report cards will be handed out on WEDNESDAY June 24th. Stay tuned for the schedule.

Grade 12: Report cards will be handed out on THURSDAY June 25 at the end of your Grad Walk-Thru, as part of your Grad Swag Bag.

Yearbooks

We are hopeful that our yearbooks will be here by the end of this week and will then be ready for distribution during our last week (June 22nd - 24th). Stay tuned for pickup details. There are still copies for sale at $45.00 per book. To order a yearbook, or to check to see if you have already ordered one, please phone the school and speak to our accountant, Ms Marshall.

Books and Calculators – Due Back TOMORROW

Reminder to students: if you have signed out text books, library books, or graphic calculators, please return them to the Learning Commons by THIS FRIDAY June 19. All books can be returned at any time to the carts/boxes that are sitting outside of the main entrance to the Learning Commons. Students do not need to come into the library unless they are returning graphing calculators, which they can place in the box on the circulation desk. There is also a trolley at the main entrance of the school for books to be dropped off, if students/parents prefer to not enter the school (graphic calculators can be turned in at the office too).

Chromebooks – Due Back TOMORROW

For any students or families who borrowed Chromebooks from the School District: please drop them off at the Claremont main office by THIS FRIDAY June 19th, as all machines that were loaned out in April/May as a part of the District Tech Support Plan need to be collected, cleaned, and re-sorted to the proper school location of origin (the machines being returned will not necessarily be Claremont owned).

Locker Clean-Out

All lockers are in the process of being cleaned out, with several parts of the school now complete. Any textbooks found in lockers are being returned to the Learning Commons and all personal belongings are being bagged and stored by locker number for student pickup. Students are welcome to come and collect their locker contents at any point during the week of June 15-19, you just need to check in at the main entrance first. Take your lock home (and please make a note for yourself of your lock combination, so you have it ready in September).

School Bus Registration for 2020-2021

Reminder to parents that students must be registered by June 30 to ensure a seat on the school bus for next school year. Parents can register at: https://www.sd63.bc.ca/programs-and-services/transportation

GRAD 2020

All grade 12 students should have received an email this morning, outlining the details and schedule of Grad events for June 25th. If any grade 12 student did NOT receive this email, please contact the school.
