Spartan Wear – Clothing Orders Due TODAY
TODAY is the final day to order Spartan Wear!! If you would like to buy a Claremont Spartan hoodie, shirt, sweat pants, or lanyard, please pick up an order form from the Accounting Office. All sales are pre-order only. Deadline for orders & payment is TODAY to Ms. Marshall in the Accounting office. Estimated time for clothing to arrive at Claremont is before Spring Break.
Pink Shirt Day – Feb.24
TOMORROW (Wednesday) Feb 24 is Pink Shirt Day. Please support Claremont's commitment to a bully-free environment by wearing and ‘thinking’ pink. By joining together, we can visibly show our support for a more inclusive, accepting and compassionate society. Practice kindness and wear pink to symbolize that you do not tolerate bullying.
Girls’ Lacrosse Class: Quarter 4, Block 2
Students in the Girls' Lacrosse Class in Quarter 4, Block 2: please pop by the PE office at lunch or in block 2 to pick up your fee slip from Ms. Taylor, so you know what you owe for your clothing and equipment order. Items should be here by the end of the week!
2021-2022 Course Book
The digital Course Book for the 2021-2022 school year is posted on the Claremont website. Families can familiarize themselves with course offerings, specialty programs and pathways to graduation.
Course Selection Forms
Course selection forms have been handed out to our current students yesterday and today in block 1. If students don’t have a block 1 class, they can pick up their course selection forms from the office.
General Course Selection Forms are due back in the office by FRIDAY March 5.
CSI Application Forms are due back in the office on WEDNESDAY March 3 (attached to a Course Selection Form).
Application Forms for the Programs of Choice (Claremont Sports Institute, Pursuit of Excellence, and Institute for Global Solutions) are available on the Claremont website on the Registration page: Registration Quick Link is on the left margin on the home page. These application forms need to be submitted WITH the Course Selection Forms.
An informative course selection video/slide show has been shown to the Block 1 classes yesterday and today. It is also on the Claremont website on the Registration page: Registration Quick Link is on the left margin on the home page.
After School Homework Club
For all students who would like extra help in Math, English, Science or Social Studies: help from Education Assistants is available on TUESDAYS & WEDNESDAYS 3:00-4:00 after school in room 235 (computer lab). All students in all grades are welcome
Peer Tutoring
Another avenue for students to get help with academic studies (Math, English, Science, and Social Studies) is to work with a Peer Tutor. We have volunteer Peer Tutors who are ready to be paired up with students asking for some extra help. If you are interested in having a Peer Tutor, please see Mrs. Wadsworth in the Learning Commons.
Mid-Morning Breaktime Food Service
Reminder that the Spartan Store is open every morning for breakfast and snack service 10:00-11:00, with reasonably-priced hot drinks and morning treats. Cash or lunch cards only.

Grade 12’s: Did you know that YOU can access your own transcripts from the Student Transcript Service website? You can view your transcript and/or send them to a Post-Secondary Institution of your choice, at any time. It is easy to make a BCeID account on the Student Transcript Service. Peninsula Youth Clinic
Peninsula Youth Clinic is operating through Telehealth on Thursday evenings 5:30 - 7:30pm Appointments with doctors or mental health workers are conducted by phone or video. Services are completely free and confidential in their judgement free zone for any medical concerns, to get prescriptions, or to speak with a counsellor. To make an appointment, call 250-656-4143.
Foundry Youth Clinic
Foundry Victoria Youth Clinic offers young people ages 12-24 health and wellness services, with doctors, mental health workers, and peer support workers. Foundry is open for virtual and on-site appointments. To make an appointment, call 250-383-3552. Phones are answered beginning at 10:30AM on weekdays to schedule appointments for the day.
