Health and Safety Protocols at Claremont
Please click HERE for current & important information about Health & Safety protocols at Claremont.
Masks for Students
We are unfortunately having to hand out upwards of 40-50 masks per day and the cost associated with this process is starting to mount! In some cases, the same students request masks every day, and sometimes several times a day. If students can, please ensure that you bring a mask to wear at school everyday, that would be very much appreciated.
Absences and Illness
A reminder that parents/guardians notify the school office every day that a student will be absent from school. PLEASE indicate if the reason for absence is for illness; the Ministry of Education requires that schools specifically track how many student absences are due to illness. Please notify either the Attendance email: claremont_attendance@saanichschools.ca or by phone message: 250-658-6666. Please perform BC’s K-12 daily health check before arriving at school by clicking HERE .
Lunch Cafeteria
The Cafeteria at lunch is up and running with a tasty range of lunch choices. Cash only, or lunch cards can be purchased at the Accounting office for $5 and $10.
