ATHLETICS
Basketball
Congratulations to all of our Basketball teams that are still in the midst of their respective playoffs:
Our Senior Girls took home yet another Island Championship in convincing fashion downing Belmont by almost 30 points in the final game this past Saturday!
Our Junior Boys posted three straight wins and narrowly missed out on an Island title, losing 51-50 to Oak Bay in an incredibly hard fought last game of the Island Championships!
** Both the Sr Girls and Jr Boys have qualified for the upcoming Provincial Championships at the Langley Events Centre!!
Our Senior Boys played an exciting city final game at CARSA fieldhouse on Saturday night (special thanks to all of the Claremont fans who came out to watch!) and, although they were not successful in beating a strong Oak Bay squad, they will look to rebound this coming week as they begin their Island Championship run!
Go Spartans!
