Clubs

Youth for Change and Inclusion
Youth for Change and Inclusion is a new club at Claremont that meets Mondays at lunch
in room 320. The group is interested in working toward positive social change in the school and in the community, and in having fun! See our display in the Learning Commons at lunch today, and come join us on Monday!
Scholarship Meetings
Scholarship meetings will begin next week on FRIDAY September 20th, and will be held at lunch in Room 300. This is a great way to find out about many scholarships that are available to students.
Head Shaving Fundraiser
Any students interested in participating in the head shaving pledge drive to raise funds for the Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock should attend a brief meeting TODAY at lunchtime in the big gym. See Mr. Ohl for more information.
Blood Drive
Attention students 17 or older! There is an urgent need for blood. Our next blood drive in is October. Please sign up to donate blood. Sign Up begin MONDAY September 16th. Look for the sign-up table in the student lounge at lunch or see Mr. Spoor
Also, students are needed to help with the upcoming blood drive. Any students, grades 9 - 12, that would like to help with the blood drive....please see Mr. Spoor anytime in Room 134.
ATHLETICS
Girls Jr Volleyball
For all girls wanting to play girls junior volleyball, there is a meeting TODAY at the beginning of lunch in the big gym.
Boys Jr Volleyball
There is a Boys Junior Volleyball practice TODAY after school in the big gym. All Jr Boys interested should attend. If you are not able to attend and want to play, please see Mr. Reisig in the PE office.
Volleyball Intramurals
The 4 vs 4 co-ed volleyball lunchtime intramural will begin next week. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate. Register your team on the sign-up sheet outside the main gym doors. TODAY is the last day to register a team. Remember teams are co-ed so you must have at least one member of the opposite sex on the floor at all times.
Cross Country team
It's not too late to join the cross country team. Practices are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after school. Meet in Mr. Nelson's room after school (room 137)
INTERNATIONAL
There will be a meeting TODAY after school for all international students. Please meet in room 264 after block 4.
GRADUATION
For all grade 12's – if you didn't pick up your forms at the assembly on Tuesday, please come to the office to pick up your copies. The forms are on the counter outside of the office.
