GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
History Fair
To all grade 11 and 12 students going to the history fair TODAY at UVic:  your bus leaves at 12:30 sharp  from the front of the school.

Year-Long Drama Play
 “The Great All-American Musical Disaster” continues this week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.  Come see this entertaining and funny year-long drama production.  All tickets are $7.50 and can be bought at the door.

Art Club
If anyone would like to joint a new Art Club, please meet in Room 263 (the Art Room) at lunch on FRIDAY December 6th.

Winter Café Auditions
If you enjoy playing music or singing and sharing your talents? The Claremont Music Department invites you to perform at our Winter Café on Wednesday December 18th!
Gather up a group or go solo and prepare a 2 to 5 minute performance, it doesn't have to be holiday related!  Auditions will be held on December 12th and 13th, during lunch. The sign up sheet can be found on the band room door.

BCIT Biomedical Engineering Info Session
Any students interested in learning more about the Biomedical Engineering program at BCIT, there will be an Information Session that can be attended in person or online TODAY from 6:30pm – 8pm.  Visit www.bcit.ca/infosessions under Health Sciences for more details.

Class Afloat Rep Visits Claremont
Are you looking for an adventure?  An experience of a lifetime?  How does sailing around the world on a tall ship, while earning high school or post secondary credits sound? There will be a representative from Class Afloat in the lounge at lunch TODAY!  Be sure to stop by for more info.

Shad Valley Deadline Fast Approaching
Any students in Grade 10, 11 or 12 interested in a 4 week Summer enrichment experience living in residence on a University Campus should consider applying to Shad Valley!  This is a very well known program that will give you a competitive advantage to post secondary. The deadline is December 12th so see Mrs. Pryer in the Career Centre or go to www.shad.ca for more details.

GRADUATION 2014
Winter Dance
Attention Grads!  The grad winter dance is just around the corner!  Tickets will be sold at lunch time every day until December 10th at the ticket booth outside the theatre for $20.  Don't forget to buy your ticket!
