GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Found Items
A wallet was found in the school. Please come to the office to claim it.
Also, there are Lost and Found items of clothing on tables in the main entrance of the school.  Please stop by to see if any of these items belong to you.  Anything left over on Friday will be donated to a local charity.

Choir
There is an important choir meeting at beginning of lunch TODAY.

Art Club
Art Club meets TODAY after school in the art room.

Winter Cafe
Claremont's Winter Cafe is TONIGHT at 7 pm!!  Come by to support the Claremont music students. There will be a variety of songs and pieces performed by your fellow students! There is also a guitar that will be raffled off, tickets are $2, or 3 for $5. Entrance is by donation. Coffee, tea and baked goods are included. All proceeds go towards the music department's trip to Disney Land!

Spartan Wear
Are you still trying to come up with ideas for gifts?  If so, consider the gift of Spartan Wear. The Spartan Store has a variety of items that are prefect for holiday gifts: hoodies and sweats, hats, scarves, jackets, coffee mugs, stainless water bottles, etc.  The Spartan Store will be open every day at lunch until next Thursday. Or, drop by the PE Office and speak to Mr Ohl if you would like to buy something after hours.

Business Dual Credit Camosun Courses
Students that are signed up for Business Dual Credit Camosun Courses need to bring their application forms to Mr. Bussoli TODAY at lunch or Block 4.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Holiday Week
It is great to see so many elf ears, reindeer antlers and Santa hats out there today!
Friday is Spartan Day! Remember to wear RED, enjoy the pancake breakfast starting at 8:45 am at the cafeteria, shortened classes, and the staff skits at the end of Block 4.

Ivy League University Tours
Any students considering attending an American or Canadian Ivy League University such as Harvard, Columbia, Yale, McGill, University of Toronto, Waterloo and many more, should consider joining a Spring Break Campus Tour with IWE Study.  Deadline for registration is in January, so see Mrs. Pryer in the Career Centre or visit www.iwestudy.com for more details.

Service Canada - Canada Summer Jobs Opportunity
Any students 15 yrs and older who will be looking for Summer employment next year may be eligible to apply for the Canada Summer Jobs opportunity which will set you up in a work placement. Applications open December 2nd and will be accepted until January 31st.  See Mrs. Pryer in the Career Centre or go to www.servicecanada.gc.ca for more details.

GRADUATION 2014
Grad Clothing
Grad clothing is here!   Clothing will be available for pickup at lunch time in the choir room TODAY and THURSDAY only.  Clothing not picked up will be available after the break.

INTERNATIONAL
Christmas cards and Pizza
For all International students:  There will be a Christmas card making and pizza event after school on THURSDAY in the lounge.  All international students are welcome to attend.
