GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Report Cards
Report cards will be handed out TODAY at the end of block 2. The class schedule has been revised to allow for 10 minutes at the end of block 2 for all students to go to their home rooms BEFORE THE LUNCH BREAK. If you don't know your home room, there are lists of everyone's home room posted in the horseshoe hallway. Today's revised class schedule is posted outside of the office.
TC 10K
If you can walk or run 10km, then you are eligible to participate in the 25th annual TC 10K which takes place on Sunday April 27th. Please consider being a member of the Claremont Spartans TC 10K team...no experience necessary. This is open to all staff, students, and their families. See Mr. Nelson in room 137 for more details.
Year Long Drama
The next Year-Long Drama play is coming soon! Twisted Tales of Terror plays from Feb 19-22 and Feb 26-Mar 1. Tickets are $7.50 and are available at the door. This fun comedy is appropriate for all ages and isn't really that scary. It's actually funny! Please come check it out at the Ridge Playhouse.
STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Glow Dance
The Glow Dance is happening TONIGHT at 7 pm. Last chance to buy your ticket is TODAY at lunch outside the theatre for $5. Remember to wear white. There will be a concession and glow sticks for sale.
Carnations
TODAY is the last day to buy carnations for Valentines Day. Show a friend or loved one how much you care! For only $1 each, carnations can be delivered to your friends and special-someones on Friday, Valentine's Day! Buy them in front of the gym at lunch and make sure you know your friend's Block 1 and 2 classes.
The Dating Game
Come see The Dating Game on FRIDAY at lunch in the theatre for some Valentine's Day entertainment.

Intramural Dodgeball begins TODAY at lunch in the big gym. Spectators are welcome!

Any students interested in joining the Track and Field team this year, please attend an important meeting this FRIDAY at the start of lunch in Room 215. Experience is not necessary. Please see Ms. Giese in the counselling area if you can't attend.

Cabinet Making
Any students that may be interested in Cabinet Making, Camosun is offering a 7-week Joinery program this Summer. See Mr. Arsenault in the Career Centre for more details.
UVic is Coming to Claremont!
Are you in Grade 12 and planning on attending UVic in the Fall? If so, there will be a representative here at Claremont on Friday, February 28th at the Learning Commons at 8:30am for a general presentation. You can also sign up in the Career Centre for individual appointments to answer any questions you may have. First come, first served!
GRADUATION 2014
Thrifty Smile Cards
You can help support the All Night Dry Grad by loading up on groceries at Thrifty Foods. Through their Smile Card program, Thrifty Foods donates a portion of sales to the All Night Dry Grad. Thrifty Smile Cards can be picked up in the school office, and parents from all grades or family and friends can use them.
