GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Drop-in Peer Tutoring
Just a reminder that there is drop-in Peer Tutoring help for Math and Science at lunch in Mr. Belvedere's class Room 134 on TUESDAYS and WEDNESDAYS at lunch.  Come by today for some support!!

School Dance
Claremont is having another dance on THURSDAY May 29. This is a Blackout Dance, so wear all black. Buy your tickets outside the theatre at lunch for $5. Guests tickets must be purchased from admin in the office.

Cardboard Boat Competition
The team of Jonathan Parkes, Sean Clackson, David Mah and Adam Irving won the AP Physics Cardboard Boat Competition at Commonwealth Pool on Monday with their winning boat: the S S Vucko.  Congratulations to all of the teams that participated in this year's event!

Blood Donors
Thank you to all the staff and students who donated or attempted to donate blood this past month.  You have helped saved the lives of over 60 fellow Canadians! Look for another blood drive in the fall.

Yearbooks
It's yearbook time and there are only 100 yearbooks left; they are only $45!  Buy your yearbook and don't miss out. Bring your money to the accounting office!  Not sure if you've bought a yearbook or not?  Come check out the yearbook table at lunch in the student lounge.

Parking
This is a reminder for all grade 11 and 12 students who drive to school.  Your vehicle must be registered at the office to park in the student parking lot.  If you are not registered, please come to the office to pick up the paperwork and, if you are not registered, you must park on the street.  Students are NOT permitted to park in the staff parking lot at any time.  If the student lot is full, you MUST park on the street.

Our next theme day is Camo Day this FRIDAY, May 23. Wear your best army/camoflage gear and come check out our lunch time event!

Science Venture at UVic is Recruiting Volunteers
Science Venture at UVic offers Summer Camps for children in grade 1 to grade 8 and is currently recruiting for volunteers to be Junior Camp Counselors.  Please go to www.scienceventure.ca for more information.  Application deadline is May 30th.

GRADUATION 2014
All Night Grad
Grad students wanting to bring guests to the All Night Grad can pick up a form in the office and must have it returned to the office by this Friday @ noon.  The last call for any other Grad Student who wants to attend the All Night Grad: the final deadline is also this FRIDAY May 23rd @ noon.

UVic's REG 101
UVic's Registration 101 is coming to Claremont on THURSDAY May 22nd, so mark your calendars if you are planning on attending UVic in the Fall.  Come to the Career Centre and sign up for your individual appointment with a representative.

International Student Dance
Can all international students who would like to attend the Farewell Dance at Stelly's on June 3 please sign up on Brenda's door.
