GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Coffee & Bake Sale
The IGS students will be selling Level Ground coffee and tea on THURSDAY morning, and all NEXT WEEK they will be selling coffee, tea and baked goods to raise funds for their train trip to Ottawa.  Get your caffeine fix and support a good cause. Discounts to all students who bring their own mugs.

Chess Club
Chess is art. Chess is war! The chess club is here!  Come and do battle in room 327 at lunch on TUESDAYS and WEDNESDAYS.  See Mr Gardner for more details.

Anime Club
There is an Anime Club meeting TODAY at lunch in room 136.

International Peer Advisors
There is an International Peer Advisors meeting at lunch TODAY in room 215.

Peer Tutors
If you need help with Math and Science, there are Peer Tutors ready to help you on TUESDAYS and WEDNESDAYS at lunch in Mr. Belvedere's room 134. Please check in at the start of lunch. See Ms. Giese in the counselling office if you would like a peer tutor for a different time or subject.  There is a Peer Tutoring meeting TODAY at the start of lunch in room 225.

Blood Drive
Congratulations Claremont on the previous year of blood donations. We were first in BC out of all schools.  Now is the time to keep that going.  If you are over 17 and interested in donating blood, come to a meeting THURSDAY at lunch in room 136 to sign up or for more information.

Blackout Dance
We are having a school dance on THURSDAY Oct. 30 from 7-10pm. Wear all black. Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased at lunch outside the theatre.

Bus Passes
Finally! New bus passes for the school bus arrived at the end of the day yesterday.  If you have been asking about your bus pass, please come to the office TODAY.  There is a good chance it is here now.  Some of the bus passes are for international students.
