Locker Door Wrapping
Don't forget that Key Club will be wrapping locker doors in the holiday spirit! You can have your locker or your friend's locker gift wrapper for only $2 per locker. We'll be collecting locker numbers and cash at lunch outside the gym for the rest of the week. Proceeds go towards World Vision. Teachers, you can have your classroom door wrapped for $5!
Toys 4 Teens
Please bring in gift cards for the Toys 4 Teens drive. The last day to donate is Tuesday, Dec. 9. The Winning Block 3 class gets a prize and gets to go to Mayfair for the annual Toy Drive wrap-up event.
Fudge is Back!
The fudge treats are back TODAY at lunch outside of the big gym. If you tried this fudge last week, you know how great they are. There are lots of new flavours in addition to your favourites. $3 per treat.
Year-Long Drama presents: The Ash Girl
Want to see a play? Claremont's Year-Long Drama class presents “The Ash Girl.” The play runs the next two weeks from Wednesday-Saturday night at 7:30pm. Tickets are $7.50 at the door. The play is an adaptation of the Cinderella story and features over 25 students in the cast. See Mr. Plant for more details or group rates for tickets.
Law 12 – The Decade's Most Explosive Trial
Come and witness the trial of Rachelle Kennedy as she is tried for the heinous murder of her own mother. What would have made the anquished young woman possibly partake in the ghastly death of her own mother? Watch it all unfold next week: December 9th through 11th in block 2 in the Learning Commons. Teachers, you can also book your class to come watch the trial!
Passport to Educaton 2013-2014 Winners
Lists of Passport to Education Recipients for 2013-2014 have been posted to the school website as well as in the Office, Learning Commons and Counselling area. Students can check the lists to see if they received one for last year. You have until 12th December to appeal if your name isn't on the list and you think you should have received one. Passports are held by the school and given to students after they graduate.
