GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Aboriginal Awareness Week - Free the Children
Free The Children is having an Aboriginal Awareness Week to shine light on the long history and rich culture possessed by Aboriginal, and to also shine light on the huge role they've played in Canadian history.  Fact #1: Did you know that there is a total of 87 Aboriginal languages in Canada?  Please join us in the IGS room 264 to play in the "Bone Game: Lahal team competitions" TOMORROW (Tuesday) at lunch.  This is an ancient gambling game that pits team against team in a battle of wits and deception.

Blood Drive
Blood Donors: please check your donation times on the list outside the Learning Commons. Bring picture ID and drink lots of water the day before and the day of your donation. Some donation slots are still available. See Ms Chapman for details.

Fine Arts Night
FOFA students present Fine Arts Night on WEDNESDAY, March 4th at 7pm. Come out and see what FOFA students have been up to this year! Presentations from music, dance, drama and film and television will be included in the evening. Tickets are $5 at the door.

TC 10K Team
Attention staff and students. Claremont has a team entered in the TC 10K and it's not too late for you to join. The race takes place on Sunday April 26th and no experience is necessary. Go to tc10k.ca and be sure to select 'Claremont Spartans' from the drop down menu. See Mr. Nelson for more info.

BC Cancer Agency Internship Opportunity
Are you currently in Grade 11 and interested in cancer research?  If you excel in science and have a passion for this field, then consider applying for an 8-week research internship this Summer with the the BC Cancer Agency. Two students will be selected from Claremont to apply and 4 students from Vancouver Island will be selected to participate in this incredible opportunity! The deadline is March 9th!
