Claremont Blood Drive
The next Claremont Blood Drive is coming up. Blood donation appointments are available on May 26, 28, and June 3 & 4 at the Saanich Road location. Taxis pick up from school at 3:00 and bring you back at 5:00. See Ms Chapman to sign up.
CC350 Bike Relay
Hey Spartans! Next FRIDAY May 29th is Claremont`s 6th annual CC350 bike relay! This is an all-day event focused on raising funds and awareness for climate change and local green initiatives. The day will be filled with live music, local food, a "not so silent" auction and an eco-fair! Come out to support the riders or register a team online at www.claremontcc350.ca!!

Grease is the Word
The Spring musical “Grease” plays nightly this week May 19-23 at 7pm. There's also a matinee on Saturday May 23rd at 2pm. Tickets can be bought in advance from Ms. Marshall in the accounts office. Student tickets are $12.50. Come see your friends sing, dance and rock out to the tunes of GREASE.

This is the final few days for the ChatterHigh Competition. Go to www.chatterhigh.com daily and complete a quick and easy quiz for a chance to win awesome prizes and help the school win prize money. We are currently in 2nd place, but could be bumped to 3rd if we're not careful. There are two days left so, please, let's finish strong!

Volunteer & Work Experience Opportunities
There are a number of new volunteer and paid opportunities available, such as yard work like weeding and mowing lawns needed, as well as volunteering as camp leaders and at Spring Fairs and other events. Please remember, if you would like to earn course credits for volunteering or working over the Summer, you must see Mr. Arsenault in the Career Centre before the end of June to register in order for your hours to count towards WEX 12A & 12B.
UVic Rep Coming to Claremont
Just a reminder to any students attending UVic in the Fall, there will be a rep here TOMORROW for individual appointments. Sign up in the Career Centre for a time, there are only a few left! Don't forget to go to the office to meet them at your scheduled time!
