GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Toys 4 Teens
The 3rd annual Toys 4 Teens Donation Drive runs from now until Dec 8. Please donate $10 gift cards for Teens in Need in your Block 2 class. Winning House receives House Points and the winning class will attend the wrap-up event at Mayfair Mall on Dec. 10. Go Spartans!

Grade 9's – Movie & Popcorn Night
Calling all grade 9s.  Your first grad 2019 event has arrived!  All grade 9's are invited to a movie and popcorn event TODAY right after school (2:40), hosted by the Mentorship group in the Learning Commons.    The movie selected by YOU is...... “Maze Runner.”  You bring a water bottle and we will bring the popcorn.  See you there!

Exchange Opportunity
Best Buddies is looking for caring students with good social skills to participate in an exchange with a Best Buddies group in London Ontario.  Claremont goes to Ontario for a week at the end of April, and Oakridge Secondary joins us here for a week at the end of May.  Lots of fun activities and a chance to make a real difference in the lives of students with significant handicaps.  Please see Mrs. Stetson as soon as possible in room 216.

Music Program Fundraiser – Bake Sale on Friday
Enjoy some treats at the music program bake sale this FRIDAY at lunch! All  goodies are $1 each. 

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Friday Night Lights
TOMORROW NIGHT (Friday Nov 27th) at 7:30pm, the Claremont CSI lacrosse team will be playing against Mercer Island, WA at UVic stadium field 2B. Tickets will be on sale Monday November 23rd to Friday November 27th for $2 or by donation at the gate.  All proceeds raised will go to support KidSport. Come support our lacrosse team, and enjoy music and food!

ATHLETICS
Intramural Volleyball
Intramural volleyball continues TODAY at lunch in the big gym.  All teams will be in action and players need to be changed into gym strip and ready by 12:00.

Junior B Girls Basketball
Jr B Girls Basketball practice is TODAY from 2:30-3:45.

McGill University Visit
Any students interested in learning more about Montreal's McGill University, be sure to come to the Student Lounge on FRIDAY, November 27 at lunch.

Post Secondary and Unique Opportunities Information Night
Please mark your calendars for Claremont's Post Secondary and Unique Opportunities Information Night  on THURSDAY, December 3rd, from 7:00-8:30 pm in the Learning Commons and Student Lounge!  Representatives from UVic and Camosun College will be here as well as the Canadian College of Performing Arts, Blyth International, Latitude Global Volunteering, Canadian Armed Forces, OSEF-ASBL, CDI College and more! All interested students and parents are welcome to attend!

Job Opportunity
This is an opportunity for long term work and possible mentorship doing farm labour in Agriculture North Saanich.  This job is for a student who either grew up on a farm or has extensive experience working on a farm. Hours will be every Friday and Saturday for the next 6 to 12 months. Duties include; driving a bobcat to move soil and wood, fence repairs, cross fencing, general cleanup and prep of land for a berry farm and orchard. Must be at least 17 years old and have your N. This client is looking for a student with initiative and can make decisions. Pay will reflect your level of experience $11.00-$14.00/hour to start!  Contact info in the Career Centre!
