GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Sole Sisters - KidsRun

Sole Sisters will be holding the 7th annual “KidsRun” - a 1km and 5km run/walk on SUNDAY May 1st at 10:00 a.m. starting at the Tillicum Mall parking lot by Montana's.   You can choose to walk or run either distance.  Come and enjoy a morning full of fun family activities, entertainment, on-site barbeque by donation, and silent auction. All money raised will go to the Victoria General Hospital's Pediatrics Oncology department, to help treat cancer in children. See Sierra Boland if you have any questions.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Lip Sync Battle

There will be a lip sync battle next week on TUESDAY April 26 at lunch in the theatre.  Sign up to be part of the battle, by yourself or with a friend.  The sign-up sheet is posted outside of the theatre doors.

Free Gardening Course

Gardening Basics – May 1, 8 & 15 (3 Sundays in a row) 1:00 - 4:00pm at Sluggett House Garden, 1336 Marchant Rd, Brentwood Bay.  There are just a few spots left in this course, so sign up now!

North Saanich: trimming ivy and spring clean-up. 4 shifts of 2-3 hours @ $15.00/Hour.
North Saanich: weeding & preparing a vegetable patch. 1 student for 4 hours, or 2 students for 2 hours, $12.00/hour; 
Sidney: lawn mowing, 1.5 hours on call, $12.00/hour.
Sidney: lawn mowing, every second week, 1 hour/$14.00/hour.
Sidney: weeding flower beds, 4-6 hours for 1 student, or 2-3 hours for 2, $14.00/Hour

Camp Ignite for Girls
End of April deadline is approaching for Camp Ignite for Girls!  Camp Ignite is a week-long Mentorship Program, August 11-14, 2016 in Vancouver, organized by members of the Vancouver Fire Rescue Services. The camp is directed towards young women, ages 16-18 with the purpose of inspiring girls about careers in firefighting. More information and application forms are available in the Career Centre.

GRAD 2016
25 Students are Missing Grad Transition!!
A list of 25 students has been posted on the grad board and in the Career Centre – our records indicate that these students are still missing one or more aspects of their Grad Transition.  Please see Mrs. Rhodes or Mr. Arsenault in the Career Centre to find out what you are missing.
Remember:  Incomplete Grad Transition = NO GRAD!!

PAC Scholarships – Deadline Extension
The deadline for the PAC scholarships has been extended to FRIDAY April 29th at noon. Applications can be found on the scholarship page. Please email Ms Hari if you have any questions.

Grad Assembly
Reminder for all grads:  There is an extremely important assembly TODAY in block 5.  Everything you need to know about graduation will be discussed, and an information package will be distributed with all of the details and paperwork for the ceremony, dinner/dance, and dry grad.  This assembly will answer all of your questions about grad eligibility, tickets, guests, schedules, deadlines, and much more.  Attendance at the assembly is mandatory.
