Cops For Cancer
This THURSDAY the Tour de Rock riders are coming to visit Claremont and we're doing our best to raise $11,000 for Cops for Cancer, beating last year's total by 10%!!!  Thanks to the hard work of our Leadership 11/12 class students; all week you'll see lots of fun things going on in the school, all in the name of raising funds for our Cops for Cancer visit!

TODAY:  Grade 12s are being auctioned off at lunch in the Theatre for this Friday's MINIONS day.  Each grade 12 who volunteers to be a Minion will spend time with their “Gru” on Friday: bring lunch, help them throughout the day and eat lunch together.  Minimum bid per grad will be $5.  Grads who wish to be minions, please see the Grad Facebook Page for info.
WEDNESDAY:  We will be shaving heads and waxing legs of brave students at lunch time in the lounge, all in the name of supporting Cops for Cancer.
THURSDAY:  The big day!  We welcome the Tour de Rock riders to Claremont at 12:00 noon.  We will have an altered bell schedule and a grade assembly, performance by the dance classes, the inaugural Claremont Climb race from Cordova Bay,  as well as STAFF head-shavings and leg-waxings.
FRIDAY:  Minion Day!  Grade 12s will be making lunches and serving their "GRU".
All of this is in addition to the Block 2 fund-raising challenge, which is still being led by Mr. Plant's class!!! The last day for Block 2 donations is THURSDAY!  If you have a block 2 study block, there is a donation box in the office!

Claremont Climb
Any runner interested in competing in this Thursday's CLAREMONT CLIMB (during the Cops for Cancer ceremony) should see Mr. Plant or Mr. Nelson this week BEFORE Thursday. This race will see the fastest female and male runners crowned champions after racing from Cordova Bay up to Claremont.
