All students registered for IGS 12 in the 2nd semester: please attend an important meeting TODAY at lunch in room 264.


Please help children worldwide by donating spare change from now until Halloween into the UNICEF boxes found in all your teachers' classrooms. Every little bit can add up to a lot. Last year we raised $300 in change!

Halloween Week: Oct 24-31

Halloween week continues!
TODAY – Thank you to everyone who is participating in Funky Hat Day today!
MONDAY 31st –  Come to school in costume and join the Halloween costume contest at lunch in the gym.  Note:  School Policy this year is that there will be NO CLOWN COSTUMES PERMITTED due to recent events in the news of clown-related threats of violence.

Jr Boys Volleyball Results

The Claremont 2 Team, which is currently comprised of eight gr. 9's and one grade 10, continues on its reign of terror upsetting Jr. Boys "A" volleyball teams across Victoria.  The Spartan "B"  team defeated two "A" teams today at Royal Bay.  In a split point decision, the Spartans defeated Reynolds 25-27, 25-22 and Esquimalt 23-25, 25-10 to finish the Lower Island League play.  
On another note, both Jr. Boys Teams will be competing in the Belmont Invitational tournament today and Saturday against some of the Islands top teams.  GO SPARTANS!

Halloween Scavenger Hunt

For all International Students: come and join your fellow international students for an International Student Scavenger Hunt TODAY right after school from 2:50- 3:30/45.  Meet in the Learning Commons.  Sign up on Brenda's board so we know numbers. If you have any questions, please ask Ms. Heppell

Vancouver Trip
The Vancouver day trip for International students is November 23rd.  Get your permission form from Brenda's door.  Completed packages are due on Wednesday, November 9th.
