Provincial Exams – Write/Rewrite Opportunity
Any students who completed Science 10, English 10, Math 10 (AWM 10 or FMP 10), Social Studies 11 or BC First Nations 12 by last June who would like to write or rewrite the associated Provincial Exam during the semester 1 Exam Week (this January) needs to see Mr. Hayes in the office as soon as possible.
CLUBS
Key Club Fundraiser – Rice Bowls
In partnership with Erito Sushi, the Key Club are having a fund-raiser, selling rice bowls! For $6 you can have your choice of chicken, beef or tofu. Key Club will be taking pre-orders TODAY and FRIDAY at lunch in front of the gym. Bring $6 on those days and sign up to get a rice bowl. Delivery will be next TUESDAY, Dec. 6th. Money raised will go to various charities that Key Club supports. Note: there will only be pizza, baked goods and drinks in the cafeteria on Dec. 6 th when the rice bowls are delivered.

ATHLETICS
Rugby
Any boys grades 9-12 interested in playing rugby this Spring should attend a meeting this THURSDAY (Dec.1) at lunch in the big gym. The purpose of the meeting is to gauge interest for both this year's senior and junior teams, as well as to introduce an overseas tour planned for March 2018. There will be sign-up sheets and info on how to express interest in participating in the 2018 tour. Please make every effort to attend and contact Mr. Ohl if you are going to be unable to be there.
Junior Girls B Basketball
Jr. Girls B Basketball team – there will be a practice TOMORROW (Thursday) at 3:45 in the small gym. The first exhibition game is MONDAY, Dec. 5th at Edward Milne in Sooke. Team members: please ask your parents if they can help drive players to this game.
Fundraiser for Sr Boys Volleyball
Colourful Claremont Volleyball Stickers are here and for sale! The Sr. Boys Volleyball Team is selling these stickers for an affordable $2 to help raise funds to go to BC's. If you would like to purchase a sticker, see Mr. Ryan at lunch, before or after school in the PE office.

Technologies Exploration – Camosun
Are you interested in Computer Science, Electronic & Computer Engineering and Technology, Civil and Mechanical Engineering? Are you in grade 10-12? Consider the Technologies Exploration course (TEAC) for February 2017. There are 19 seats available and the application deadline is this week! This is a 4-credit course offered in partnership with Camosun College. Meet with one of our Claremont counsellors for more information.
Volunteer Opportunity
12 Days of Christmas Lunch at SHOAL Centre, in Sidney, December 20, 12:00-1:30 pm. Gain serving experience by supporting staff at this event. There will be musicians, Santa players and 12 days of Christmas surprises for all! Visit the Career Centre for more information.

Reminder that Grad Transition is a GRAD REQUIREMENT and includes: 30-Hour Work/Volunteer Experience, Daily Physical Activity Log and a Grad Interview. GT tracking forms are available from the Career Centre. Return the completed forms as soon as possible to complete your Grad Transition.
