Today in class, students:
- read for USSR
- were shown their updated marks
- were given completion marks for "Your Own Brother" questions
- went over the questions
- went over expectations for poetry writing drafts (posted on web page below)
- started writing an autobio poem, following the handout given
- went over tone, after being given a "cheat sheet" of tone vocabulary
- read and chatted a bit about the poem "the lesson of the moth", and started working on the questions
Homework:
Be ready to hand in a TYPED draft of the autobio poem tomorrow, and finish reading 1/4 of your book club selection. Remember, you are welcome to bring in "treats" to share with your book club group tomorrow.
