UNICEF Boxes
The Key Club has teamed up with UNICEF to help eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus - a deadly disease that steals the lives of 34,000 innocent babies and women each year. Please donate any change you may have into the small orange box sitting on your teacher's desk. Last day will be TOMORROW, Nov. 1st. Thank you.

Last Tryouts: Sr & Jr Boys BasketBall
The last tryout for the Senior Boys BBall team is TOMORROW (Wednesday) from 5:30-7:00pm in the big gym.
Just afterwards, the Junior Boys BBall teams, both A and B, have their last tryout from 7:15-8:45pm.

Exploration in Technology (TEAC 105)
It's TEAC 105 (Explorations in Technology) registration time for the Feb -May 2018 course! This dual-credit course, runs on Fridays from 3-6 pm, and provides current high school students with an introduction to careers and basic skills in 4 technology areas:
1) Computer Science,
2) Electronic and Computer Engineering Technology,
3) Civil Engineering Technology, and
4) Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Students will complete a hands-on project in each of the 4 areas as they explore potential career and post-secondary options. Please see Mr. Arsenault in the Career Centre for application packages.
House of Commons Page Program
Are you interested in studying in Ottawa? Working on Parliament Hill? Making lasting friendships? Consider applying for the House of Commons Page Program! Pages are first-year undergraduate students who work in the House of Commons for one year. Pages are paid $16,088 in 26 equal payments over a 12 month period + an additional $1200 at the end of the employment period. The annual recruitment runs now through December. A reminder to Grade 12s that Grad Transition completion is a grad requirement, and it is not too early to get it done! Pick up your GT forms from the Career Centre and complete your GT before formal exit interviews have to be organized for you.

Peninsula Youth Health Clinic – New Hours
Important: Hours have changed - The Peninsula Youth Health Clinic is now open every Thursday from 5-7pm. Walk in's are welcome, but if you are interested in booking an appointment or would like more info, call the clinic at 250-656-4114. Location: at the Ocean Pier Medical Clinic, (#207-2537 Beacon Avenue in Sidney) This clinic offers completely free and confidential service in the areas of physical, sexual, and mental health for youth. This Youth Clinic offers a judgement-free zone for all youth and is an LGBTQ safe space.
