GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
UNICEF Boxes
Today is the last day to make a donation in the UNICEF boxes. Funds collected will help eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus - a deadly disease that steals the lives of 34,000 innocent babies and women each year. Thank you to the Key Club for teaming up with UNICEF for this good cause.
Math Contests
There are two math contests this month. The COMC is TOMORROW (Thursday) morning in blocks 1 and 2 in room 215. There is one extra paper available, if you are interested.
The next contest takes place on Nov 22nd, but the registration deadline is this FRIDAY. This contest has two versions -- the CIMC is for grades 9/10 and the CSMC is for grades 11/12. Please sign up on the board across from room 133, or talk to Mr. Skanks if you are interested in writing this contest.

The information meeting has been moved to TODAY at lunch in room 320, with Ms G-C. Find out about how to win money for creating a poster, video, short essay or poetry! There are 2 contests where between $100-$3000 in prize money is available.

Last Tryouts: Sr & Jr Boys BasketBall
The last tryout for the Senior Boys BBall team is TONIGHT from 5:30-7:00pm in the big gym.
Just afterwards, the Junior Boys BBall teams, both A and B, have their last tryout from 7:15-8:45pm.

If you are interested in registering in an Apprenticeship program or for Trades Training at Camosun College, please see Mr. Arsenault in the Career Centre.
GRAD 2018
Grad Wear 2018 – On Sale Now
Class of 2018: Pick up your Grad Wear order form from the counter outside the main office. Order forms are due no later than TUESDAY November 7th. Examples of the clothing are on the Grad Page of the Claremont website. All payments must go through Mrs. Marshall in the Accounting Office. Clothing is expected to arrive by the end of November.
Grad Transition
A reminder to Grade 12s that Grad Transition completion is a grad requirement, and it is not too early to get it done! Pick up your GT forms from the Career Centre and complete your GT before formal exit interviews have to be organized for you.

Peninsula Youth Health Clinic – New Hours
Important: Hours have changed - The Peninsula Youth Health Clinic is now open every Thursday from 5-7pm. Walk in's are welcome, but if you are interested in booking an appointment or would like more info, call the clinic at 250-656-4114. Location: at the Ocean Pier Medical Clinic, (#207-2537 Beacon Avenue in Sidney) This clinic offers completely free and confidential service in the areas of physical, sexual, and mental health for youth. This Youth Clinic offers a judgement-free zone for all youth and is an LGBTQ safe space.
