TC 10K Registration
TODAY is your last chance to register for the TC10K and be a part of Claremont's team. All students and staff are welcome and no experience is necessary. Register online at tc10k.ca or see Mr. Nelson in room 137 for more info.
Food Drive & Spartan Day
Chalk up the Chariot for MONDAY April 9 - THURSDAY April 12. Please bring in donations of non-perishable food, pet food, and new personal items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, diapers, etc) to Block 1 classes and fill up the chariot in the student lounge. Spartan Day is THURSDAY April 12. Wear RED and check out Scrum Fest, the BBQ, and more!

Talent Show
The Spring Talent Show starts this MONDAY April 9, and will be held in the theatre every lunch period until Thursday, April 19. Two whole weeks of talent! The sign-up sheet is posted outside the theatre, in the student lounge and in the horseshoe. Please contact Steven Hao if you put your name on the list; his cell phone # is on the sign-up sheet.
Want VIP seats? Bring a non-perishable food can for the food drive and get your choice of seating in the theatre.

GRAD 2018
Mandatory Grad Assembly
All grade 12's are required to attend a grad assembly next week on WEDNESDAY April 11 in block 1 (9:30-10:15). This assembly will provide all details about graduation: how to know if you are eligible to cross the stage, criteria for completion of courses at SIDES or ILC, grad ceremony, grad dinner/dance, All Nite Dry Grad, how to get TICKETS (and how many tickets), deadlines, and all of the necessary paperwork. If you have a spare or if you are not usually at Claremont for block 1, it is essential that you make arrangements to attend this important assembly.
After Grad Planning 2018
The After Grad Planning Committee invites all parent/guardians of the 2018 Grad class to follow the Claremont Dry Grad Facebook page to keep informed on the planning of the All Night Grad at UVic, Thursday June 28th.
Dry Grad Meeting - Tuesday April 10
Are you the parent of a Grade 12 student? We'd love to share our plans for Dry Grad 2018 with you! Please join us at the Parent After Grad Committee meeting on TUESDAY April 10 at 7pm, in the Claremont Learning Commons. Parents of all grades are invited. We'd love to see everyone! We're excited to share the plans that we've made, and to let you know the areas in which we need assistance.
If your student is on the Grade 12 Grad Executive Committee, please ask them to join us, as we would love their input on what we have so far.
Dry Grad Fundraiser – 50/50 Raffle
The Parent After Grad Committee is having a 50/50 Raffle. Tickets are $5 each. Deadline for sales is May 3rd. Brenda Chan, PAC Chair, will draw the winning ticket on May 8th at the Dry Grad Committee Meeting. If grads or parents would like to sell tickets, they are distributed in books of 10 and can be picked up from Lisa Wergeland. Please contact her at ohmysoul@shaw.ca
We have a gaming licence to sell $18,000 worth of tickets. Students 13 & older may sell and purchase tickets. Potential winnings are based solely on sales; one prize, half of the ticket sales. Good luck!

Return It Bottle Depot - Dropping off bottles? Why not donate to the Claremont Dry Grad 2018 account? How? At the beginning of the transaction please state that funds are to be donated to "Claremont Grad 2018." Families of all grades are welcome to participate.

Peninsula Youth Clinic
The Peninsula Youth Clinic is located at Peninsula Medical, 2a-2379 Bevan Avenue, Sidney and is open every THURSDAY from 5:30 - 7:30pm with both a doctor and mental health clinician on hand.
Youth Clinic
The main Victoria Youth Clinic is open to all youth and is located at 818 Douglas Street on the 3rd floor. It is open Monday to Thursday 11-5 and Friday 11-4.
