The Claremont Spartans Golf Team placed 4th out of 22 teams at the BC "AAA" Championships (June 4-6th) in Nanaimo. Although the Spartans did not get on the podium, they met their goal of earning a top 5 finish.
Claremont's Gr. 10 Richard Zhang was the top male golfer in the tournament shooting 76 on Tuesday and 71 (1 under par) on Wednesday. He also won a closest to the pin award. Gr. 12 Ayano Takasaki was the 4th place female in the tournament.
