Riley Pickrell returned to Victoria after a highly successful summer winning the Canadian National Criterium Championships in Saguenay, QC. He then rode for Team Canada in the prestigious Tour de Abitibi, the largest Junior Stage Race in North America, where he made the podium in 5 of the 7 stages, winning three and the Points Jersey. Riley then flew to Switzerland to compete in the Junior World Track Championships where he placed 4th in the Scratch Race and 13th in the Sprint Tournament among the best track cyclists in the world, all as a first year Junior!
