We are taking nominations for Claremont’s “Athletics Wall of Fame”, which will be updated at the end of January of 2019.
Three categories exist: Player, Coach or Builder.
If you have a name that you feel should be considered please nominate him or her via email to Darren Reisig at dreisig@saanichschools.ca. Please include: name, achievements, grad year, and dates/details to consider. We ask for these nominations to be submitted by Friday, January 18, 2019 @ 4:00 p.m.
In the past, guidelines such as participation on Senior National teams, Olympic Games/World Championships, and/or professional sports have been used. Additionally, ‘time served/spent’ have been used as criteria for induction to Claremont’s Athletics Wall of Fame.
Past names such as Fred Winters, Gary and Paul Gait, Rich Harden, Ryan Cochrane, Lindsay Jennerich, and Sarah Kaufmann were inducted in 2013.
