Wands for Wildlife – PEP 11 Leadership Project
TODAY is the final day!!  Do you have old, used mascara wands? Instead of throwing them out, some students at Claremont have organized a two-week campaign in partnership with the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge’s initiative, “Wands for Wildlife”, where donated wands are used to help rehabilitate rescued animals, including removing fly eggs, larvae, and ticks from their fur or feathers. There is a bin located outside the front office where you can put your old mascara tubes, which not only prevents the plastic from entering our landfills, but can help save countless wild lives!  Campaign ends today.
