Hello, Parent/Guardians of Claremont students:
Your child may have arrived home Thursday with some concerning news.
At lunch break on Thursday, October 10, Claremont Administration was alerted of a potentially high-level safety concern involving a student. The Administration acted on information provided by students and staff and was able to work with a student in question to ensure safety for all. At that time it was determined there was no threat to anyone at the school or the school community. Our Saanich Police Liason Officer responded and assisted Administration to quickly resolve the situation.
We are appreciative of the support from our students, staff, and Saanich Police Liaison Officer as we worked through this situation. This serves as a reminder to all students, that any concerns for student safety are brought forward to an adult so we can further support one another in our Claremont community.
