Mid-Day School Bussing
A reminder to all block 1 teachers: please check in with your students and send the names of all those who need to use the school bus to get to school midi-day for the second 5-weeks of Quarter 1.
After School Homework Club
For all students who would like extra help in English, Math, Social Studies and Science: help from Education Assistants is available on TUESDAYS and WEDNESDAYS 3:00-4:00 after school in room 235 (computer lab). All students in all grades are welcome. Please wear a mask.

Canadian Universities - Virtual Info Events Sept 28 – Oct 8
CUE - Canadian Universities Events - Connecting students to the finest post-secondary opportunities across Canada!
Students will be able to register and login for the CUE virtual events on the day that suits their schedule. Each attending CUE institution will be hosting online sessions during the times listed below, and we encourage students to explore these virtual booths with curiosity and an open mind. The remaining events are scheduled for these dates:

Scholarships
Loran Scholarship applications are now open. The Loran Scholarship is awarded to exceptional graduating students who have demonstrated leadership and who give back to their communities through volunteering and service. The top prize is valued at $100,000 with several smaller prizes at $5000 and $2000. To be nominated by Claremont, please submit an application package to Ms. Tong (room 323) by October 5. Programs at the Upside Teen Centre (Saanich Commonwealth Place)
These programs are a FREE, registered drop-in style, and all include safe, healthy snacks. Youth can pre-register online or come to the centre at programs time and register in person! All participants will answer COVID screening questions upon arrival, hand wash, and keep a safe distance from one another. All program areas are sanitized between programs.

Outdoor Adventure Club
Ages 10-18.
Learn about the outdoors, participate in activities, and explore together. As well as the weekly meetings, youth will be able to sign up for optional monthly hikes!

Enjoy Music Bingo, Karaoke, Music Trivia, and more! The leaders are ready to jam with you.

Peninsula Youth Clinic
Peninsula Youth Clinic is operating through Telehealth on Thursday evenings 5:30 - 7:30pm Appointments with doctors or mental health workers are conducted by phone or video. Services are completely free and confidential in their judgement free zone for any medical concerns, to get prescriptions, or to speak with a counsellor. To make an appointment, call 250-656-4143.
Foundry Youth Clinic
Foundry Victoria Youth Clinic offers young people ages 12-24 health and wellness services, with doctors, mental health workers, and peer support workers. Foundry is open for virtual and on-site appointments. To make an appointment, call 250-383-3552. Phones are answered beginning at 10:30AM on weekdays to schedule appointments for the day.
