THE CHRONICLE

Thursday April 22, 2021

Happy Earth Day!!

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

New Quarter, New Classes, New Rotation

Quarter 4 begins THIS MONDAY April 26. The block one classes will run at full attendance for the first 5 weeks. Most block two classes will run at a reduced capacity with an A/B group schedule. Some block two classes have a low enrolment or a larger classroom space, and may be running with full attendance, thus some students will not need to worry about the A/B rotation. By this Thursday April 22, students will receive an email from their Quarter 4 block 2 teacher to identify which rotation the students are scheduled to attend: group A, group B, or full time.

Mid-Day Bus Schedule

Important note for all students who ride the school bus: for the first half of Quarter 4 (starting MONDAY April 26th) our bus schedule will change back to PICKING UP students at the school at the end of block 1 classes, and then DROPPING OFF at scheduled stops near your homes. The schedules for school bus pick up/drop off are basically identical to those that ran for the first half of Quarter 3, but if you need to reference them at all, they are posted on the Claremont Website “Quick Links” and by the main office. All busses will leave Claremont at 12:00 sharp.

30 Hours Work Experience or Volunteering

Reminder to CLE/CLC students (especially Gr. 12s): When you have completed your 30 hours of Work Experience or Volunteering, ask your employer or volunteer coordinator to confirm your hours via email to Mrs. Watson (Career Centre) - cwatson@saanichschools.ca
