Year-Long Drama: “Humbug High”

Claremont’s Year-Long Drama presents: “Humbug High”, a modern school-based adaptation of “A Christmas Carol”.  6 shows run Dec 2-4 and 9-11 nightly at 7:30pm.  Masks are mandatory and all tickets are $10 at the door.  Donate a non-perishable food item and save $1 on your ticket (maximum $5 discount)

This is a new take on the classic Dickens tale! Eddie Scrooge is 17 years old. She hates her parents and her classmates. Her only goal in life is to make money and keep her heart ice-cold. She carries her own low temperature always about her and doesn't thaw one degree at Christmas.  She is on his way to becoming a miserly, miserable, tight-fisted hand-to-the-grindstone, until one Christmas season she is taken on a journey by Madge, the lunch lady, and the ghosts of Christmases past, present and future. Scrooge is about to meet the errors of her ways face-to-face.

Sounds like fun, right??
