GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Message to Parents/Guardians of Current Grade 11’s (Next Year’s Grads)
If you are a parent or guardian of a current grade 11, you know that your student’s graduation is only a year away! If you are interested in starting some conversations, especially about fundraising, please contact Judy: judysam84@gmail.com. September will be here before you know it, and grad parents would love to start sharing ideas and start organizing, so we can have a head start in September.
Report Cards
Report cards will be handed out on two separate days, outside at the main entrance of the school. Parents, siblings and family members are also welcome to pick them up:
WEDNESDAY June 29, 9:00-1:00 (4 hours).
THURSDAY June 30, 11:00-1:00 (2 hours)
Yearbooks
There are still lots of yearbooks that haven’t been picked up yet. They are available to pick up from Belinda Waller I the Accounting office. If you still wish to buy a yearbook, you can purchase one at the Accounting office for $45.
Parent Volunteers/Drivers for Next Year
Reminder that all volunteers for School District 63 are required to complete a Criminal Record Check every three years. Sports and trips may start up quickly in September, so we encourage parents to be proactive and do this NOW, if you might be interested in driving, as the process can take a few weeks at rush time. On the Claremont Secondary home page, under Quick Links, find the Parent Volunteers link and follow the steps.
ATHLETICS
Congratulations to all of the recipients of last week’s Athletics Awards.
