February PAC Meeting - Tues Feb 20th

A reminder to all Claremont parents that our next CPAC meeting is set for Tuesday Feb 20th from 7:00-8:00pm (either in person in the Learning Commons or online - using the Microsoft Teams link provided HERE). We will be voting on allocating the remaining ~$10K of PAC funds to programs & initiatives that benefit Claremont students. 
Parent Workshop Opportunity - several dates available 

The Ministry of Education and Child Care, in partnership with adolescent Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Hayley Watson, will be hosting free virtual sessions on youth substance use for parents/guardians, caregivers and caring adults. Dr. Watson will provide valuable insights, practical tips, and resources to equip participants with the tools needed to guide their children and youth toward making positive choices when it comes to substance use.

  • Understand what causes and maintains substance use disorder and needs
  • Increase youth’s ability to make positive choices about substances

Parent Involvement Evening on Feb 22nd @ Stelly’s Secondary (7pm-8:30pm)

The evening will be set up like a fair where you can choose from a variety of school conversations on LITERACY, INDIGENOUS LEARNER SUCCESS, MENTAL HEALTH & WELLNESS or GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP. Schools from across the district will be there to share their learning journeys.
