Congratulations rowers on a very successful first regatta of the spring racing season. Over the weekend at Maple Bay (Quamichan Lake just outside of Duncan) the CSI rowers combined to win 6 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medal. With only 24 athletes able to compete on the weekend (one of the smallest teams of the regatta - most of the 15 clubs or private schools had 50 or more rowers competing) Claremont placed 4th over all; Woman's team total - 3rd overall, Men's team total - 5th overall. Next regatta is the Brentwood College International regatta April 26, 27 and 28 - the largest junior regatta in Western Canada. Good luck Spartan rowers! Click HERE to view more pictures!
