The Jose-Riz sisters recently won impressive poetry awards! Congratulations girls, well done!
Shannon won the Patricia Goedick Award for poetry and Gill won the Richard Hugo Sense of Place Award for fiction from the magazine Aerie International out of Montana. Two international contests. One great pair!! They would like to give credit to Mrs. Stenson and her Writing 12 class for influencing them and building their skills.
