The Claremont Science Department held its second semester science fair in the learning commons on June 6th. Science 9E, 10E and the Science Pursuit of Excellence students presented their projects to guest judges from the scientific community and Saanich district staff. Projects ranged from an "ion levitation" device to automobile throttle body optimization. The Claremont Science Department holds one Science Fair per semester with students having the option of entering the Vancouver Island Regional Science Fair held in April at the University of Victoria.
