Head Shaving fundraiser
The head shaving fund-raiser for Tour de Rock is on, and the block 2 fund-raising competition continues all week. Bring donations to your block 2 teacher.
Shave your flow for dough: Are YOU willing to shave your head in support of cancer research and to raise funds for the Tour de Rock riders? Please see Mr. Ohl or Mr. Quested if you'd like to get your name on the list. All the money you raise can be donated to your block 2 class.
Peer Tutors
We are looking to build our Peer Tutor list because we already have many requests for help. Peer tutoring looks great on a resume! If you are a strong Math and/or Science student who could spare 30 minutes to an hour of volunteer tutor time per week, please see Ms. Giese in the counselling office if you think you can help.
Bus Passes
We have BC Transit bus cards in the office for the following three students: Jesse Gough, Bre Kerr, and Jane Kim, These bus card are in effect starting this Tuesday October 1st so please come pick them up.
Also, there are still many school bus cards waiting to be picked up.
ChatterHigh Competition
Hey, Spartans! The new ChatterHigh competition is under way, so let's be sure to win it this time! Go to www.chatterhigh.com daily and help the school earn money, plus you could win awesome prizes or better yet, donate your points to Free the Children! See Mrs. Pryer in the Career Centre at lunch for more details!
Blood Donors
A Big thank you to all of the students who have signed up to donate blood. There is still a need for more donors. Please see Mr. Spoor any time in Room 134.

For all International Students: If you have NOT given Brenda your passport yet, please do so NOW.
The deadline for the International Whistler trip is near! Seats are filling up quickly, so get your package in FAST. And the first PIZZA lunch for International Students is on TUESDAY October 1st.

Sr. Boys Volleyball
The Senior Boys Volleyball team went undefeated last night, beating Mt. Doug 25-16 & 25-7 and Esquimalt 25-8 & 25-10. The Boys will be competing in a 40 team tournament this weekend at UBC.
