General Announcements  
Message
There is a message in the office for Mackenzie White.

Lost and Found
On Friday, a girl's ring and a necklace were found in the school.  Please come to the office to claim them.

Bus Passes
If you are a new student to Claremont and you have been waiting for your school bus card, they have finally arrived.  Please come to the office to pick up your card.  Starting TODAY, the bus drivers will be asking for students to show their bus cards to get on the bus, so it is very important to pick yours up before the end of the day.

Math Club
There is a Math Club meeting in Room 133 at lunch TODAY.

Peer Tutors
For all students who have signed up for the Peer Tutoring club, there is a meeting at the start of lunch this WEDNESDAY in computer lab 225 with Ms. Giese.  Students wishing to sign up please attend as well.

Student Price Cards
Don't forget to buy a Student Price Card for only $10 at lunch all this week outside the big gym. You can save 10-15% at 80 stores in Victoria! Proceeds go to Victoria Hospice Society.

London Spring Break Trip
There is a London Spring Break Trip Parent Info meeting on THURSDAY at 6pm.
Please come with your parents and learn about the proposed trip.  New students welcome.

Graduation 2014
Attention grads!!  Lifetouch will be here to take your Grad photos starting next week.  If you haven't booked your photo photo shoot yet, you need to go to the Lifetouch website to book your photo appointment:  www.lifetouch.ca/victoria.    Information forms are in the office.  Please book online EARLY so they don't run out of spots.

Are you planning on going to Post Secondary?  If so, you don't want to miss this great opportunity!Mark your calendars for THURSDAY October 10th, 6:30 - 8pm at Glenlyon Norlfolk School for the Canadian Universities Event, where you get to meet with reps from over 30 Canadian schools.  Check out the posters around the school for more details.

Sr. Boys Volleyball League Matches this week - Claremont competes vs Reynolds, Spectrum, and Mt. Doug on Wednesday at 6pm (at Mt. Doug)
 
The Sr. Boys Volleyball Team placed 3rd at the Vancouver Island University Tournament this past weekend.  Ranked 10th going into the playoffs, they beat the #7 ranked DCSS  and then knocked off the #2 seed, G.P. Vanier earning them a birth in the semi final where they faced the #3 ranked NDSS.  Unfortunately the boys had a few too many error ending plays and lost by three points, placing them third in the tournament.

Taylor Montgomery Stinson was named to Tournament All Star Team.
 
Claremont is currently ranked 9th in B.C.
