Messages
There is a message in the office for the following students:  Marlen Faust,  Fei Han,  Tasmin Laal,  Josh Newton,  Nate Smith,  Nanami Sugita, Junyan Tao, David Wang, and Junneng Yang.

Lost item
A white IPhone went missing in the school last week.  The case looks like a Brittish flag. If you have found this IPhone, please help out your fellow student and bring it to the office.

School photos and ID cards
If you had photos taken in SEPTEMBER but you have not received your photos or ID cards yet, please come to the office to pick them up.

Trip to London
If you are interested in going on the Spring Break 2014 trip to London, the last meeting to learn about this opportunity will be TODAY at lunch in the theatre .

Passport to Education 2012-2013 Winners Announced!
Lists of Passport to Education Recipients for 2012-2013 have been posted to the school website as well as in the Learning Commons, Counselling area and outside the office.  Students can check the lists to see if they received one for last year. You have until November 11th to appeal if your name isn't on the list and you think you should have received one.  Passports are held by the school and given to students after they graduate.

Blood Donors
Congratulations and thank you to the following students who donated blood yesterday. Your gift has saved lives:  Behzad Hajivalezadeh, Mia Brooker, Connor Fischbach, Martha Gerlach, Jamal Nasim, Sina Hajivalizadeh, and Amrit Sekhon.

ATHLETICS

Girls basketball
For all girls interested in playing basketball this year:  there will be a short, important meeting in the gym at lunch TODAY. Bring your lunch. All girls, all grades.

Boys Rugby
The boys rugby team is planning an exchange this spring with a school in Ottawa. Any grade 10-12 boys interested in playing rugby this year are asked to attend a meeting at lunch on MONDAY Oct 21st in the big gym. We will discuss the season and this exchange. Contact Mr. Ohl in the PE office if you can't make it.

CAREER CENTRE

Work opportunity
Are you looking for part-time work?  A local bakery/cafe is looking for a counter person.  You must be available to work weekends and through the Christmas holidays.  Please see Mrs. Pryer in the Career Centre for more information TODAY.

GRADUATION 2014

Attention grads!!  Have you booked your photo shoot with Lifetouch yet?  They are only here at Claremont s until next Thursday with their portable studio.  If you have not booked your appointment, please go to the Lifetouch website as soon as possible:  www.lifetouch.ca/victoria.    Information forms are in the office.   These photos will be in the yearbook so we request that everyone have a photo taken.  If you are just having one photo taken for the yearbook only, then Lifetouch will take this picture at "No Charge”.  When you come for your appointment, the Lifetouch studio is parked outside, at the back of the school.
