GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Halloween Week
Hey everyone!  Our festive Halloween Week continues!.  TODAY, we hope everyone enjoys Blackout Wednesday.  It is awesome to see that so many staff and students are wearing black today!!  Happy Halloween!!

On THURSDAY there will be a Costume Contest at lunch in the big gym.  Don't miss out!

Take Our Kids to Work Day
Attention Grade 9 students...due to a class or two being missed during consent form distribution, the deadline to submit Take Our Kids to Work consent forms has been extended until FRIDAY Nov 1st. Please see Mrs. Pryer in the Career Centre if you still need one or to turn your signed form in.

UNICEF boxes
Do you want to help children all over the world? Of course you do! Please donate any spare change from now until Halloween into the UNICEF boxes found in all your teachers' classrooms. Every little bit can add up to a lot!

ChatterHigh
The ChatterHigh Competition is coming to an end this Friday and guess what?......We are currently in 1st place!!  Edward Milne is in a close 2nd place, with Esquimalt in third, so please go to www.chatterhigh.com each day so we can keep the lead and win the $1000 first place prize for our school.

Athletic Leadership
Reminder to all Athletic Leadership students: You must submit your portfolio and evaluation sheet to Mr. Ohl before the end of this FRIDAY.

Girls Field Hockey
All Field Hockey girls need to stop by the PE office at the beginning of lunch TODAY to pick up Island tournament information.

Boys Basketball
Attention any boys interested in playing for the Junior or Senior Boys basketball teams this year:  our open-gym is TODAY after school.

Senior Girls Volleyball Results
The senior girls volleyball team finished off their league games last night with an impressive 3-1 win against PCS.  The team finishes in third place out of 16 teams in league play. They compete in the Lower Island championships this Friday and Saturday at Stellys.  Come out and support your team.

CAREER CENTRE

S.A.T. Prep Course
Any students interested in taking an S.A.T. Prep Course through the Princeton Review held at St. Micheals school, there is a course starting THIS WEEKEND for the December 7th exam date.  See Mrs. Pryer in the Career Centre for registration details.

Job Opportunity
Any students interested in working as a Dishwasher at Adriennne's Tea Garden in Cordova Bay, please see Mr. Arsenault in the Career Centre for more details.

GRADUATION 2014

Grad Clothing
Attention Grads!  Grad Clothing order forms will be available for pick up TODAY at lunch in the lounge, and then again next week on Monday and Tuesday at lunch.
Clothing order forms are due to be handed in to Ms. Marshall in the accounting office no later than November 6th!
