GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Lost item
A pair of red Dre-Beats ear buds have been lost in the school. If you have found them, please help out your fellow student and bring them to the office.

Computer Repair and Maintenance course
Are you interested in computers?  We are offering a dual credit course at Claremont that will get you secondary school credits as well as Camosun Credits.  A Computer Repair and Maintenance course will be available starting in February.  Space is limited to 4 students! Talk to Mr. Beeston or attend a lunch time meeting in the North Computer Lab  at 11:45 (lunch time) this FRIDAY!

12 Days of Christmas
As of Friday, we had collected 300 gifts for our Toys for Teens gift drive!  This WEDNESDAY is the last day to donate in Block 3 for our Claremont goal of 500 gifts.  Ms. Giordano's class is still in the lead. Who does she think she is?

Claremont's Got Talent
Claremont's Got Talent is happening TODAY and TOMORROW at lunch in the theatre. Get there quick, as doors will close when the seats are full.

Dance Party
There will be a lunch time Dance Party in the Dance Studio on WEDNESDAY at lunch. Donations are being taken at the door. $2 minimum. All proceeds going towards Toys for Teens.

Locker Wrapping
The Key Club will continue gift wrapping locker doors this week.  The cost is $2 per locker. We'll be collecting locker numbers and cash at lunch outside the gym until WEDNESDAY!  Proceeds will go towards buying toys for teens.

Music Events
Claremont is hosting some fantastic musical events in December! Help support the Claremont Music students by coming to the Winter Concert on December 11th at 7 pm in the Ridge Theatre, and the Winter Cafe on December 18th at 7 pm in the Learning Commons. There will be performances from the Choir, the Concert and Jazz bands, plus some small ensembles delighting you with their singing and Jazzy tunes. There will be lots of baked goods and warm drinks at both events. Buy your Winter Concert tickets for $10, or come to the Winter Cafe, where admission is by donation. All proceeds will go to help the Music students reach their goal of going to Disneyland!

Attention Trades Exploration Students
If you are registered in the Trades Exploration Program starting in February, please pick up an important letter from Mr. Arsenault in the Career Centre as soon as possible.

Shad Valley Deadline Fast Approaching
Any students in Grade 10, 11 or 12 interested in a 4 week Summer enrichment experience living in residence on a University Campus should consider applying to Shad Valley!  This is a very well known program that will give you a competitive advantage to post secondary. The deadline is December 12th so see Mrs. Pryer in the Career Centre or go to www.shad.ca for more details.

GRADUATION 2014
Winter Dance
Attention Grads!  The grad winter dance is this Thursday Dec 12th!  There are only two days left to buy tickets.  They will be sold at lunch time TODAY and TUESDAY at the ticket booth outside the theatre for $20.  Don't forget to buy your ticket!
