Fine Arts Night
Fine Arts Night is TONIGHT at 7pm.  Come see performances by all fine arts classes. Donations will be accepted at the door.

Cake pops are being sold at lunch TODAY! Only $1.50 for an adorably delicious cake pop! Look for the Mr. Cake Pop’s stand outside the library windows in the lounge!  See you there, Spartans!”

Get your Pop n' Go Popcorn for sale in the lounge at lunch TODAY and WEDNESDAY, $1.25 a bag. All proceeds go to United Way!

Would you like to try something new?  Something full of culture and deliciousness?  
Well, Samosa-me-crazy is selling authentic home-made samosas outside the student lounge/ big gym for only 1 dollar TODAY and WEDNESDAY at lunch, and all proceeds go to Kidsport.  See you there!

Hey guys:  TODAY and TOMORROW at lunch in the student lounge, you can get steamy hot chocolate for $1.50.  All profits made will go to Jeneece Place!  So get steamy, Claremont.

Are you stressed and tired from exams? Are you hungry? If so, then we have the answer for you: chocolate-covered pretzels! Buy them now TODAY and WEDNESDAY at lunch in the student lounge for just 75 cents each!  All proceeds go to the Victoria Women in Need charity.  Support women!

Come support the SPCA TODAY and TOMORROW at lunch by buying Ice Cream and Floats from the Snack Shack, which is located just outside the student lounge near the learning commons, with prices going from $1.00 to $2.00!

Lochside Reading Buddies
Can all students who signed up to be reading buddies at Lochside Elementary starting Wednesdays after school in Semester 2 please meet Ms. Giese in Computer Lab 225 at the start of lunch TOMORROW (Wednesday).  This is also open to any students who are interested.  If you are unable to attend, please see Ms. Giese for your permission forms.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Juice Pong Tournament
The Juice Pong tournament continues TODAY at lunch in the lounge.   Come by to join the fun or come by if you want to watch.  Just show up!!

ATHLETICS
Boys Rugby
Any grade 9, 10, 11 or 12 boys interested in playing rugby this year are asked to attend a brief meeting in the big gym this WEDNESDAY at lunch. You'll receive information regarding both the junior and senior boys teams. All sizes and levels of experience welcome!

Dodgeball Intramural tournament
The next intramural tournament will be Dodgeball and it will start the first week of semester 2.  The sign-up sheet and rules are posted on the main doors to the big gym. There will be both junior and senior divisions. There is limited space, so get your team together and sign up ASAP!

GRADUATION 2014
Yearbook Write-ups
Grads, WHERE ARE YOU???  Only 24 grads have submitted a year-book write-up to date.  Please go to the grad page on the Claremont website for full instructions on how to submit your words.  The deadline to make your submission is midnight on January 31, 2014.  We don't want to miss anyone so talk to your friends and make sure you all have done it.  If you don't know what to write have a look at previous yearbooks.
