On Tuesday, February 25, Pursuit of Excellence 11 students participated in the Rotary Speech Contest. Topics ranged from ˆWhat it means to be Canadian to more obscure prompts like Runaway Train and Splash! Each competitor spoke with conviction in front of a panel of judges - not an easy task! May Wang, Michaela Walker, and Erin Davison placed first, second, and third. May will be representing Claremont at the Greater Victoria semi-final competition which will take place in April.
