Hooping It Up
Best Buddies is hosting a basketball fundraiser TODAY: 'Hooping It Up'.  Come to the big gym at lunch today and show your support.  Bring your money to buy bakes goods and participate in the 'free throw' tournament.  There will be prizes too!

Claremont's TC10k team
Attention runners and walkers.  Don't forget to register online for Claremont's TC10k team.  The race takes place on Sunday April 27th and the registration deadline is March 21st.  See Mr. Nelson for more details.

Twin Day
This FRIDAY is Twin Day! Dress up as someone's twin and come to the student lounge at lunch to see if you and your twin or group are dressed as the best twins in the school; you could win a prize!

Junior Girls Soccer
For all girls interested in trying out for Junior Girls Soccer, tryouts will be after Spring Break on TUESDAY March 25th after school on the bottom field.

CAREER CENTRE
UVic Student for a Day Program
UVic is offering a new program called “Student for a Day” which is running weekdays until Friday, March 14.  This new program is an invitation for students to come and experience a day on campus as a UVic student. Participants can attend an actual lecture, eat lunch on campus with a current student, take a campus tour and meet with various campus representatives. The program is free of charge and includes a complementary lunch and parking pass. Please visit their website (http://www.uvic.ca/tours) for more information and to register.

Uvic - Expanded Campus Tours From March 17 - 21 and March 24 - 28
UVic will be offering expanded campus visits (2.5 - 3 hours) to give students and their families a behind-the-scenes introduction to UVic.  Participants will attend a lecture from a UVic professor, tour the campus with a student tour guide, meet with our recruitment team and end the afternoon off with snacks and refreshments in our new Welcome Centre.
