The cc350 enters its fifth year next Friday, May 9th. From cyclists to longboarders, zero emisssion warriors will go 350 laps around Claremont's track for a total of 140km to raise money and awareness about climate change initiatives. Any students, teachers or members of the community are welcome to help us continue the tradition. Teams must register through IGS in room 264 or download the registration information from cc350victoria.ca and hand it in for the whole team. Registration is $50/team or $10/person for teams over 5 members, however sponsorship sheets are available for those who wish to offset their registration fee through community or corporate sponsorship. Students must receive permission from subject teachers to miss classes. The forms are available in room 264.
The event itself begins at 8:30am with registration and at 9am wheels hit the track. There will be coffee and baked goods available for purchase in the morning a food is available at lunch through the Mexican food truck and the Grillverado will be on hand thanks to the rugby team.
